Satisfy Your Sweet Tooth Craving, Gluten-Free Style.
So, this post is for all of you who still love your desserts, but have difficulty finding gluten-free selections. I recently discovered that TwentyFive Main here in St. George does gluten-free cupcakes to order! You can get vanilla or chocolate cake, with any kind of frosting you want! :) It's amazing! This last week I ordered a dozen vanilla ones and they were delicious! The best gluten-free cupcakes I have ever had, and you can only get them at TwentyFive Main here in St. George!
These also were very pretty, I'd put these on display at a party!
These frosting flavors include Peanut Butter, Chocolate, Orange, and Raspberry. :)
I'd highly recommend them all! TwentyFive Main also has many other flavors
if these aren't to your liking.

My Favorite GF Selections
So, you're in St. George, and you might be wondering, Where can I go to get yummy gluten-free foods? Well, you're in luck, because here in St. George Utah, there are many gluten-free options to discover. I'd like to share with you my compilation of my favorite gluten-free friendly restaurants and retailers in the area. (These are not ALL the GF friendly places, just a few of my favorites!) Whether you are a local or a visitor, with this list you'll be able to make the best food choices for your gluten-free experience. Here are my favorite places in St. George I've discovered in my gluten-free adventures.
Costa Vida is my favorite mexican style grill. They make nearly everything in their restaurant gluten-free and it tastes super delicious! They have "oceans of gluten-free choices". Everything from sauces and dressings, to enchiladas, salads and tacos. I know when I go there that I have a wide variety of foods that I can eat, and I never get sick! It's awesome! My personal favorite is the Raspberry Chipotle Chicken Salad (Tortilla on the side, please!) Costa vida has two locations in St. George, one on Sunset Blvd, and one by Stadium 10 movie theaters in Washington.
TwentyFive Main is a charming local cake parlor located in downtown St. George. They have a gluten-free accommodating menu and they even do yummy cupcakes! (Vanilla or Chocolate, with whatever frosting flavor you want!) If you want a delicious one-of-a-kind only-in-St George experience, I'd go to this unique restaurant.
Pizza Factory is a local favorite, they have an awesome salad bar and they even offer gluten-free pizza crust and pasta! I always order the BBQ Chicken Pizza with GF crust, and I've never been disappointed! There are four Pizza Factory locations in the St. George area, so wherever you stay, a Pizza Factory isn't far away!
Yogurtland is my favorite fro-yo place in the area, and it's close to the Dixie State University campus. They always have a variety of yogurt flavors, and each one has an indicator of whether it is gluten-free or not, so you're always safe! (Last time I went there was only one flavor that wasn't gluten-free) Yogurtland also has an extensive toppings bar, you have to use common sense to determine what is gluten-free or not, but the employees are always great to answer any questions you may have! It's a great for a date night dessert or cool-down frozen treat place. I highly recommend this place to anyone!
Next, I'd just like to mention a few grocery retailers that have an excellent gluten-free section.
I love Natural Grocers on Telegraph St. in Washington. It has many gluten-free options for good prices! I can always find a great variety and my favorites there! I generally go to this store to buy frozen breads, hamburger buns, (Rudi's is my favorite brand) and special GF soups to put in recipes I might be making. (i.e. Cream of Mushroom, Cream of Chicken, etc.) If going into a specialty-earthy-organic grocery store might scare you, don't let it! This place is amazing! The employees are always very nice, and the store is easy to navigate. I like going here and make it a part of my weekly grocery shopping trip.
Last but not least, Harmon's Grocery has a great GF selection. I recently discovered they have a great frozen as well as shelved section of GF options. They even started carrying some of the breads I go to Natural Grocers to get! My new favorite discovery here is the Pillsbury Gluten-Free pre-made doughs. They sell Chocolate Chip Cookie dough, Pizza dough, as well as pie and pastry crusts. I've tried them all and I LOVE them and would highly recommend them! I haven't been able to find them anywhere but here, so it always draws me in! I also like how throughout the store, they post purple "gluten-free" signs next to products that are certified GF. It's very nice and saves time reading labels.
Well- there you have it! Some of my GF favorites in St. George! I hope you get to try them out and enjoy them as much as I do! :)
